As a member-serving organization, community connection is integral to the work we do in promoting the high quality, safe, accessible, and equitable teaching of yoga. As such, we create and facilitate ongoing forums to be used as springboards for the yoga community to network, share ideas, and establish meaningful professional relationships. Our goal is for these varying components to offer a safe space to elevate and better our shared yoga knowledge and practice.
Below, you can find learn more about our community efforts, groups, and projects; and learn about how you can get involved with Yoga Alliance and the Yoga Alliance Foundation.

Yoga Alliance believes that everyone has the right to practice yoga free from abuse. Here, we have compiled available resources pertaining to sexual misconduct, sexual violence, or sexual assault, including a strengthened Sexual Misconduct Policy, a one-page fact sheet for download, and direction on how to report a grievance with Yoga Alliance.

Yoga Alliance offers Social Credentialing for its Registered Yoga Schools (RYSs) and Continuing Education Providers (YACEPs). With this system, Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs) provide feedback by completing reviews on their training(s). This helps RYSs and YACEPs to continually improve their programs and courses, and results in a stronger network full of strengthened trainings.
